Alexander Muse, CEO of ShopSavvy
Alexander Muse is the CEO of ShopSavvy, the world’s most popular mobile shopping assistant for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and Nokia.
Prior to ShopSavvy, Mr. Muse founded companies in the social media and cloud services industries, such as Architel. Alex serves as a trusted adviser to a number of start-ups and is very active in the Texas tech community.
Mr. Muse is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the United States and Europe. In 2011, he gave a sixty-minute presentation on the impact of mobile applications in retail at the French Senate in Paris.
Since then, Mr. Muse has been invited to speak to various groups about mobile entrepreneurship in Bangalore, Barcelona, Hamburg, Amsterdam and London.
Alex has also been invited to lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas at Austin and is a regular guest lecturer at his alumni, The University of Texas at Dallas.

In 2008, ShopSavvy won Google’s Android Developer Challenge and was the featured app for the launch of the popular Android smartphone platform. This platform has more than 400 retail partners sharing their information with the consumer through the ShopSavvy platform.
ShopSavvy recently closed a $7M investment lead by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
